membership Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Welcome to The Firestarter Foundation Membership Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions explain the terms that apply to your membership of The Firestarter Foundation, including the membership benefits, fees, payment arrangements, cancellation, renewal and responsibilities of members.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before joining. By purchasing or joining a membership, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

1. About us

Firestarter Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation. These Terms & Conditions apply to our memberships and the benefits provided within them, including coaching, mentoring, Ask Andrew sessions and member webinars, where included in your membership. Membership benefits, fees and payment arrangements will be confirmed before purchase. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Your responsibility and membership outcomes

Coaching and mentoring provided as membership benefits support reflection, personal development and business growth. You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions and actions, and for deciding whether and how to apply anything discussed in membership sessions, webinars or other activities. Results depend on individual circumstances and participation; we do not guarantee any particular personal, business or financial outcome. Coaching, mentoring and information shared through membership are not a substitute for medical treatment, counselling, or professional legal, financial or other regulated advice.

3. our responsibilities and liability

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the agreed description. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by your independent decisions, where those losses do not result from our breach of contract or negligence.

4. fees and payment

Membership fees are those displayed at the time of purchase or confirmed in writing before you join. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due in advance of the membership period. Coaching and mentoring included in your membership are benefits of that membership and are not separately paid coaching services. All memberships renew automatically each year, and the annual membership fee becomes payable on the renewal date. To cancel automatic renewal, you must give at least four weeks’ (28 days’) written notice before your renewal date by contacting Victoria at:

victoria@firestarterfoundation.com

If you would like a reminder of your renewal date, please contact Victoria at the same email address. Annual renewal, the fee and the cancellation deadline will be clearly disclosed before you join. These arrangements are subject to your statutory cancellation and refund rights.

5. refunds, cancellation and membership renewal

Membership fees for a paid period during which the agreed benefits have been made available are non-refundable simply because you choose not to attend, participate or use those benefits, including any coaching or mentoring offered within your membership. Cancellation of automatic renewal takes effect at the end of the current paid membership year, and access to the agreed benefits continues until then. This policy does not restrict your statutory cancellation rights or any right to a refund under these terms or the law.

If we end your membership without fault on your part and do not provide the remaining agreed benefits, we will refund the prepaid fees attributable to the unused period. If we materially reduce agreed benefits, you may end the membership and receive an appropriate refund for the affected unused period. Your statutory remedies remain available where our services are not supplied as agreed.

To cancel automatic renewal, please give the notice described in section 4. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation. Any applicable statutory cooling-off or cancellation right is separate from the four-week renewal notice requirement and is not restricted by it.

6. ask andrew session confidentiality

Everything said, discussed or disclosed during an Ask Andrew session is strictly confidential and must remain within the members attending that session. This includes questions, answers, advice, personal or business information, and the identity of a member in connection with anything they disclose. You must not repeat, quote, publish, forward or otherwise share any part of the session with anyone who did not attend, including other members who were absent, non-members, colleagues, family members or on social media.

Members must not record, photograph, take screenshots of, livestream, or use automated transcription or AI note-taking tools during an Ask Andrew session. These confidentiality obligations continue after the session and after your membership ends. Nothing in this clause prevents disclosure required by law or a lawful report to the police or an appropriate regulator; where disclosure is required by law, it must be limited to what is necessary.

7. webinar links and session materials

Webinar links, access details, notes, handouts and any information or materials provided during membership sessions are for members only. Members must not share, forward, copy, publish or otherwise make these available to non-members without prior written permission from Andrew Bishop or Victoria Bishop. This includes live or recorded webinars, recordings, clips, screenshots, transcripts, presentation materials and members’ own session notes. Permission must be obtained before sharing and applies only to the specific material, recipients and use authorised in writing.

You must not allow a non-member to view or attend a membership webinar through your account, share your access credentials, or upload session content or materials to public or shared platforms without prior written permission from Andrew or Victoria. Anything said or shared during an Ask Andrew session remains strictly confidential to the members attending that session, including any notes taken. Permission to share other membership materials does not authorise disclosure of confidential Ask Andrew session content covered by section 6. These obligations continue after membership ends, subject to disclosures required or protected by law.
